CFTC Disclaimer
Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations, some of which are described below. Generally, simulated trading programs are subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is made here that any account is likely to make the level of profits or losses of any accounts shown on this site. Unlike actual performance records, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Nor do they purport to take into consideration the impact of financial risk of actual trading. Too, since the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have over or under compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, like time of day, news events, a lack of liquidity in the markets, etc.
CFTC RULE 4.41 – HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER-OR-OVER COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFIT OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.
The SEC, CFTC, and FTC want you to
be aware that trading stocks and nearly all financial instruments
involves high risks and you could experience a decrease in your principle.
Don't trade with money you can't afford to lose. Trading in commodities
and futures markets could cause you to have losses larger than your
account balance.
